SET THE TARGET RIGHT

So I went to the gym last week;  not what you are thinking though  I didn't go to do any of those work (mbok I don't have the luxury of height or strength) I escorted a friend and I just sat drinking my Pepsi as I watched him struggle with the gym instructor on doing press-up, he always found press-up hard, at-least that's according to him he just goes on the floor randomly starts and gets tired before one minute, the gym
instructor asked him to start again and mumbled counts, I could hear the counts because I stood close to him, it wasn't working my friend would fall flat on the ground before he mumbled '7/8' and the instructor probably wondering what sort of boy my friend was asked him to take a rest and left to attend to other people. I laughed at him and was like "common press-up you can't do, only 7"
he  gave me a weird look and told me he wasn't counting.
The gym instructor returned and asked him to start again, I suggested an idea, that  we give him specific numbers, give him targets to hit, we did so and started with '15', he made a first try  and hit '10', determined  he tried again and hit '15', the next day at the gym the target was moved to '25' and he hit it, then '30', '35'..........and now  whenever he wants to do press-up he sets a target and hits it by every means.
Targets -
Your activities should be fueled by targets
Living life without a target is like driving without a destination waiting for the petrol to get exhausted so you park the car at the middle of the road. A target could be short term or long term but short term works better because you need a target to achieve a target, when you hit temporary targets you set new targets. Watch it though , one step at a time you can't be in school and set targets for your first son๐Ÿ˜Š funny you. You basically have   your semester test ,  exams, then  not  dying during the holiday ๐Ÿ˜…, and whatever things that comes in between to think of. Life is jeje o, no need to kill yourself over petty things. If you set a target and you dont succeed; change strategy for the same target. But it all won't be worth it if you don't set the target right. That's primary, set them right!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
